Effective date: June 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PageNest, Inc. (“PageNest,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website-creation and hosting platform (the “Service”) or visit pagenest.ai.
We've kept this in plain English. Questions? Email support@pagenest.ai
PageNest handles information in two different roles, and it's worth understanding the difference:
Account information. Name, email address, business name, and similar details you provide when you sign up or contact us. If you sign in with a third-party identity provider such as Google, we receive basic profile information from that provider (such as your name, email address, and profile picture) to create and secure your account. We don't receive your password for that provider.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing details (such as your name, billing address, and the last four digits and brand of your card) — we never see or store your full card number.
Client Content. The content you upload or create on the platform: text, images, branding, business descriptions, and your published website content, along with the prompts and instructions you give our AI features.
Usage and device information. Log data, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken in the Service. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the platform.
Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in sessions, preferences, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; the Service may not work fully without essential cookies.
Communications. Emails, support requests, and call notes when you communicate with us.
We use information to:
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own advertising.
When you use PageNest's AI features, your prompts and relevant Client Content are sent to our third-party AI providers to generate your website content. Under our agreements with these providers, content submitted through their business APIs is not used to train their models. If we engage a provider whose terms differ, we'll update this policy and our subprocessor list first.
We share information with service providers who help us run PageNest, only as needed for them to perform their services. Currently, these include:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing and billing |
| Anthropic | AI content generation (Claude API) |
| Cloudflare | Hosting, content delivery, and security |
| Sign-in authentication (Google SSO) |
As the platform grows, we may engage additional providers — for example, specialized AI services for specific features, email delivery, or analytics tools. We'll keep this list updated, and any provider we engage will be bound by contractual obligations to protect your information.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information).
Websites built on PageNest are hosted on our infrastructure, which means our systems automatically process technical data about site visitors (such as IP addresses and request logs) to deliver and secure those websites. If a customer's site includes forms or other collection tools, the submitted data is collected on behalf of that customer, who is responsible for how it's used and for providing their own privacy policy.
A note for customers
You are responsible for your website's compliance with privacy laws that apply to your business and visitors, including posting an appropriate privacy policy. As stated in our Terms of Service, PageNest is not HIPAA-compliant and must not be used to collect protected health information.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After cancellation or termination, you may request an export of your Client Content for 30 days, after which we may delete it. Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being purged. We retain billing records as required by tax and accounting laws.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we'll notify you as required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@pagenest.ai — we'll respond as required by applicable law, and we won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You can also update most account information directly in your account settings, and unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any such email.
The Service is for businesses and adults. It isn't directed to children under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
PageNest is operated from the United States, and your information is processed in the U.S. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect. The “Effective date” at the top always shows the current version.
